Welcome to my Photographic Memories web site. A twofold purpose drives my photographic endeavor: One is to capture the moment, a snapshot of history retained for posterity, and the other is to bring the beauty of life to a standstill for a moment of appreciation that is so often taken for granted. To me, the moment a photograph is taken you have captured an historic image that will outlast and always be more accurate than the human memory. On the other hand, I believe we also need those times when we look at the world around us just for its beauty and for no other reason. Thus I hope my images have the quality, composition and presentation to reflect my endeavor and inspire those that enjoy my photographic memories.

The digital photo era is here and this web site is my official departure from the world of the 35mm “roll”. I believe this to be a very exciting time for photography and I am embracing the direction technology is taking us. Ultimately we are all winners since the age of digital has opened the door to instant gratification, easier methods of sharing, and high quality images.
